If this sounds like you, we may have the job you're looking for! As the primary caregiver, you will assist patients with varied levels of mobility with getting dressed, going to the restroom, hygiene care, eating daily meals, and other activities of daily living.
You'll also record patient vitals and note any changes in behavior, complaints, and symptoms to the supervisor.

Responsibilities:
Assist patients with regular exercise as needed to maintain physical health and mobility levelSanitize and clean patient's room by rotating sheets, bedpans, and performing general room cleaning Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosagesCommunicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient careRecord patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this positionExcellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and familiesKnowledgeable in record keeping through a computerized database to maintain patient history Previous experience handling bedridden patients with age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferredCapable of administering catheters and enemas, preferred, but not requiredBe a team player and get along with othersAbility to take direction from supervisor in charge and show emotional intelligenceAbout CompanyStuarts Draft Retirement Community is on a mission to become the Shenandoah Valley's choice senior living community for both our staff and our residents!
